It's been so long since I did an art recreation! This one is inspired by a painting by
John Sloane and it hits me right in the summer feels. I grew up in a small rural town so I'm used to corn fields everywhere around me. Granted we don't have gorgeous houses like this but the tree, oh yes the tree!
I really loved painting the wood fence. The tree was a bit harder but the fence poles were like 3 color mixed and bam. Poles. I love it when all it takes is some shadows and highlights and it makes an actual object!
Did I have bionic eyes while painting this design? I'm not sure how everything turned out so sweet, detailed and painter-ish (yes I just made that a word) but I love it. I think I'm kinda proud of this one :)
