Snails on my nails
I've got snails on mah nails!
The base is Tonic Polish Lunar Lust that I got from Color4Nails. It's so multi faceted!
I painted the snails with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush from Adnails Manucure. Their little shells are made super colorful by adding a little of each polish in the Rainbow Flowers Bath Collection by MooMoo's Signatures. It's so adorable!
I actually found a little snail today and took pictures of him, but forgot to take pictures of him *with* my painted nails. Duh. Must be the heat. I'll put a picture of him in my stories on Instagram!
I received the complete Rainbow Flowers Bath Collection from MooMoo's Signatures as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Holo diamond dress nail art
Isn't her dress looking faaaaabulous? I would love to have one of those! And her muscular shoulders too XD
The gorgeous blue base is a mattified Picture Polish beauty called Blue (how fitting!) that I got from Color4Nails, I used the OPI matte top coat over it. The lady was painted with acrylic paint!
Aaaaand now for the kicker, the dress... ahhh that dress! I just applied some SuperChic Lacquer Marvel Liquid Macro top coat and POOF dipped my wet nail into the Galaxy Holo Pigment from Nailland Hungary! Instant sparkles!! Until May 31st, feel free to use the code NLPL10 for 10% off your order (not an affiliate code) to celebrate my 5th blogiversary!!
Btw she did have a face.... I painted it after applying top coat, was actually kind of okay with how it turned out, then forgot to top coat again and went to wash my hands vigorously to get the holo dust off.... Bye bye face XD I actually saw it wash away under the tap water and cursed myself for it!!
I received the Galaxy Holo Pigment from Nailland Hungary as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Summer in the countryside nail art
Nothing to disclose
It's been so long since I did an art recreation! This one is inspired by a painting by John Sloane and it hits me right in the summer feels. I grew up in a small rural town so I'm used to corn fields everywhere around me. Granted we don't have gorgeous houses like this but the tree, oh yes the tree!
I really loved painting the wood fence. The tree was a bit harder but the fence poles were like 3 color mixed and bam. Poles. I love it when all it takes is some shadows and highlights and it makes an actual object!
Did I have bionic eyes while painting this design? I'm not sure how everything turned out so sweet, detailed and painter-ish (yes I just made that a word) but I love it. I think I'm kinda proud of this one :)

Popcorn nail art
I wanted to tell you a popcorn joke.... but I figured it was too corny :-p
I started with a beautiful red holo base called Cherub by SuperChic Lacquer. I painted the pattern with acrylic paint and my Berry Wine brushes from Winstonia, they are perfect for fine lines like this!
And here comes the thing that adds the 'POP': I made actual popcorn kernels using Madam Glam 3D gel. I used the white one called 'Sugar' and I LOVE this stuff! I also get to share a discount code for 30% with you, just add NAR30 at checkout :) (not an affiliate code)
I added some color with acrylic paint, and now it actually resembles popcorn :D
I received SuperChic Lacquer Cherub, Madam Glam 3D gel and the Winstonia Berry Wine brush set as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Mirror image butterfly nail art
Do you know the feeling when you meet someone and it's like you see yourself reflected in them? Like they're your soulmate? Yeah neither do I but just... look at my nail art instead :-p
I wish the two halves would have been closer together, next time maybe I should use something like a reflective metal sheet, tin foil, or something.... something without that distance.
The gradient gives me life! I used Faby Marry Me Robbie!!, Color Club East Austin and Faby Hold my hand... for it, and they just fit SO well together! The neon-ness of East Austin brings up the brightness of the other 2 polishes :D
I applied some What's Up Nails Holographic Flakies on top of it, they complete the look and make it happy as ever!
So while this design is a little bit 'out there', I hope you like it and can see the butterfly as a whole!
I received What's Up Nails Holographic Flakies & Dream Powder as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Tiny T-rex nail art
Rawwwrrr!! Angry T-rex is on his way... good thing he's only 1/3 inch high! ;-)
I hand painted this wild creature on a white polish base with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush, that I bought from Adnails Manucure. It was very enjoyable to paint!

Desert dragon nail art
After a mountain dragon, air dragon, green dragon etc, today we have a desert dragon!
I struggled with this one because it just didn't want to come together. It didn't look *right*. Eventually I went to sleep with an untopcoated dragon on my nails and finished him in the morning!
I used Faby Sunglasses & Bikini for the base, topped with What's Up Nails Breeze Flakies. The flakies changed when I added a regular top coat, so I'd recommend a water based or UV top coat if you like the really smooth appearance.
I painted the scenery (and oh yeah, the dragon too) with acrylic paint and my Gamax 00 Kolinsky brush that I got from my awesome friend @lu_letsplayanailgame!
I received What's Up Nails Breeze Flakies as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Piece of cake nail art
This nail art thing is a piece of cake! Literally XD
I made a gradient with MooMoo's Signatures Seafoam Daisy & Bells of Ireland and Glisten & Glow Wedding Gown White. It's a very soft, subtle gradient because of the soft colors, but I LOVE the combination of green and pink!
I painted the cake with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush. I actually got really hungry for cake while painting this, but I didn't eat any!
I received MooMoo's Signatures Seafoam Daisy & Bells of Ireland as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Wedding monarch nail art
Today's post is a special one, because my friend Marlein is getting married tomorrow! I want to wish her and her hubby-to-be an awesome life together :D
The base is KB Shimmer Saved by the Shell that I got from Color4Nails, and I wasn't sure if I would like the color. At first I didn't like it on its own, but it compliments the design perfectly and doesn't overpower it :)
I painted the monarch butterfly using acrylic paint and my new Gamax 00 Kolinsky brush that I got from my awesome friend @lu_letsplayanailgame! The golden rings were made by first painting them with Madam Glam Perfect Black, and then applying some Gold Bullion powder over it from Mitty.
I received KB Shimmer Saved by the Shell and Mitty Gold Bullion powder as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Han Solo in carbonite nail art
May the Fourth be with you! Happy Star Wars Day! I've had this idea for a long time and figured, what better occasion to share it with you, right?
The main nail represents Han Solo in carbonite. I built him up using Madam Glam Perfect Black, and then applied Sunset Powder from What's Up Nails over the whole nail. Looks pretty cool, right?
I complemented this accent nail with a hand painted Star Wars logo, and some Lipstick Flakies also from What's Up Nails. They look like flames!!
I received Madam Glam Perfect Black, as well as What's Up Nails Lipstick Flakies & Sunset Powder as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.

Rainbow macarons nail art
What's a party without some macarons?? Actually I don't even know how to make these... the real life edible kind, I mean XD
I went with a rainbow backsplash made with OPI Color Paints, over a base of What's Up Nails Chrome Powder (applied on top of Madam Glam Perfect Black). I didn't think it was going to look halfway decent, it was an experiment BUT like with any experiment, you find out new things and sometimes they're even good things!!
I painted my macarons with acrylic paint and my new Gamax 00 Kolinsky brush that I got as a gift from my superawesomest friend @lu_letsplayanailgame!! Seriously, she is my ROCK and she is generous to boot. I can't ever repay her (yes I know you're reading this).
The rainbow splashes become more visible in some lighting and less in others, making them very cool and versatile and just mesmerizing to look at!
I received What's Up Nails Chrome Powder & Madam Glam Perfect Black as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
