Freehand adorable mouse nail art
Freehanded sleepy, smiling, jumping, yawning mice on nails. I think they turned out freaking adorable! They were inspired by my piglet nail art from last May, but I thought I'd give mice a go because they're cute too :) Click to see more!
I used Jior Couture Spring Cleaning and piCture pOlish Sorbet for the gradient, and while Sorbet doesn't glow in the dark, Spring Cleaning DOES! You know I love my glowies, even when they don't add an extra dimension to the design. Ah, what am I even saying, glow stuff always adds an extra dimension :D
Pretty much every gradient works the same way. I've made a gradient tutorial tackling all the big (and small) issues when it comes to perfecting your gradients. Be sure to check it out!
The mice are completely freehand with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush. I feel like painting small details has gotten easier over time, but I'm not sure if it's the practice, or the amazing brush.
I think these nails are ADORABLE! If I had to wear one design for the rest of my life, this would probably be it. The timing is just a little bit off... Last wednesday, I had to say goodbye to my gorgeous little Aramis, my beautiful rat man. He had a good long life and his time was just up, his body gave out. It makes me sad that our adventures are over but I wouldn't have wanted to miss our time together :D I still have two younger ratties living with me now and they are amazing!
To end this post on a happier note, let's take a look at how to paint these adorable little mice!

I received Jior Couture Spring Cleaning as a press sample. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
