How about an adorable little fairy girl to cheer you all up? She's fascinated by the ants marching over a branch, bringing their spoils to their nest... or something. All of them are working really hard! I was even able to record this for a video tutorial so click to see more!
Everything is hand painted with acrylic paint and my Roubloff 00 detail brush.
I left parts of her wings open to simulate translucence but I completely forgot to include the wings in the tutorial *facepalm*
Super duper macro! Look at those eyes! They are seriously the size of pin pricks.... I didn't even spend that much time to get the pupils to look this way. I made a dot of dark brown, added light brown inside of it, then a dot of black in the middle and added white highlights. I didn't even see that they were this tiny and amazing until I saw the macro photos I took!
The base for this design is SuperChic Lacquer Live Wire, I love how fresh this green makes the whole design look! I went a little crazy when I got the collection that this polish belongs to, and made a nail polish seduction video (a.k.a. nail porn). It is SO worth it to watch and enjoy!
