Plugged in nail art

This is the most annoying nail art I've ever done. It was SO inconvenient having two nails essentially on a leash! Obviously it's not for actual wear, just for fun. The background polish is SuperChic Lacquer Hot Finger and I think I should have used a thinner wire, and just glued it to the nails instead. Oh well :-p Click to see more!

Let me tell you a secret... the lamp is not ACTUALLY powered by electricity. It's Different Dimension Give Me Love that does the trick! Haha!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to post these nails since they are so ridiculous and unwearable, but I like the idea of a lamp that lights up in the dark because it's plugged in and I showed it to Jennifer, the owner of SuperChic Lacquer, and she said I should post it so here we are :-p

The rest is freehand with acrylic paint and the wire is a piece of Scoubidou wire, you know, the plastic wires that you used to make keychains and bracelets with...


I know these are super impractical. The video is meant for your (and mine) entertainment and not directly meant as a tutorial (although you're welcome to recreate it if you'd like!).
