Pink scaled gradient with freehand silhouette nail art
Ofcourse I HAD to try a scaled gradient, even if it was only once! This nail art design called for it, but I gave it my own little twist and used liquid latex to achieve this look. Click to see more, plus a video tutorial!
It's not an amazing piece of art, but I was happy to try out a scaled gradient for once! The pretty pretty colors are Picture Polish Peaches 'n Cream and Candy, and the black is freehand with acrylic paint and my brush from Christrio Scotland. Click here to know more about the brushes I use.
Usually a scaled gradient is done with tape or nail vinyls, and you know me, I always have to be 'different'. Plus I don't have any nail vinyls that look like what I wanted for this design. So I used Liquid Palisade instead!! Watch the video tutorial to find out exactly what I mean.
And here's proof that I do actually have two hands and not one left hand and one right claw or something! I'll tell you a secret, but don't tell anyone else, okay? Here it goes... I rarely do my right hand. It's usually nekkid! I get bored really easily, I do each design on my left hand first, then most of the time I'll repeat it on my thumb to record a video tutorial for you guys. Do I really need to do the same design a third time? No, I think not! Except this time because I had somewhere to go and show off my nails :-p
There's a little challenge going in a Facebook group I'm in, we're supposed to paint our dominant hand using our non-dominant one. Maybe I'll participate, see how that looks!
