Freehand white tiger cub nail art + video tutorial
How about some d'awwww for your Monday blues? This cute little tiger cub is ready to cuddle and brighten up your day. She's completely freehanded, not a decal or stamp, just some good old brush action. I've also managed to record a video tutorial so come check it out!
Isn't she the cutest? I couldn't have painted this without my trusty Roubloff 00 brush from AdNails. This brush feels like my holy grail of brushes, the one I've been looking for. The little tiger cub is completely painted with black & white acrylic paint (and a touch of blue for the eyes).
The gorgeous glitter gradient is made with Girly Bits Razzle Dazzle and Purple Potion. Funny story, if you click the link to Razzle Dazzle, the first swatch pic is of my 'old' nails, before my blog was called PiggieLuv. True story!
Another funny story, I did this gradient once before, and I waned to add something on top but I had no clue what. I guess I finally found it, after more than a year!
This tutorial nearly killed me... This is what an hour and a half of painting looks like, compressed into a 3 minute video. My arm fell asleep. Both my feet fell asleep. My camera shut down about 4 times because of the overheating protection it has built in. And yet, I kept on painting. Now THAT is dedication! Or just plain idiocy, as my mom called it XD
