I am SO done with winter, make it summer already! So I was just really in the mood to make a beach-y scene with this message in a bottle. Freehand with acrylic paint, like usual.

I've been practicing painting translucent things like glass and water drops. It's a huge challenge, but I like it! I like things that are way too hard but I do them anyways!
The curve of my nail totally screwed with this design. I SWEAR my lines are straight! Look at the part where the bottle slims into the neck. Looks totally skewed, right?
Now look at the same part again... suddenly the bottle looks straight, well painted but ARGH why can't it look like this in the main picture?
