'A flower just blooms' glitter nail art

I can hear you thinking... here she goes again with her inspirational quotes. Yes, because I love nail art with a message! The whole quote goes "A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it, it just blooms." and it's exactly what I need to remember. I interpret it as 'be the best you you can be' and don't compare yourself to others, because there really is no comparison! Click to see more!

How it actually worked was, I had this idea for the flowers. I was painting them but I was left with a blank space on one nail and I didn't know how to continue with the flowers. So I left it open while I did the other nails and it occurred to me that a little bit of text would probably look good there. Et voilá!

The white base is ofcourse OPI Alpine Snow. For the glitter, I first used Gosh Holographic Hero to make a holo base color, then 'taped' off the surrounding area with Liquid Palisade by Kiesque and sponged Digital Nails Supernova on it.

I removed the latex, gave the flowers a touch of color using the OPI sheer tints (I layered some of them to get new colors) and added some details to the flowers using acrylic paint.
