Glitter jellies nail art with OPI sheer tints!!

Hey my babes! I've been on a roll lately with the OPI sheer tints! The 'Don't Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle' design I did was a big hit with you guys, so I thought 'Why not give the people what they want?' and I got to brainstorming on something new. I hope you like it, check out the video tutorial at the end of the article!

These were WAY too much fun to make! I've had these cool beads in my craft room for forever (I mean it, they must at least be 10 years old already, which seems like forever at my young age) and they totally inspired me to make something that doesn't quite look like it, but still does... Whatever :-p

I have a whole bunch of these in different colors, some aren't so pretty... but my color palette was born! I have only 4 sheer tints so there was some layering and blending involved.

I didn't like this picture so much, which is why I started the blog post with that other, way cooler picture. It's kind of artsy and fashion-y but I like it! Not this one so much though, it doesn't show off the happy bright look of these nails.

I do like how the colors flow into each other from nail to nail, like I planned it that way. I didn't! I swear I didn't! But it does look reeeally cool :)

You're probably gonna wanna know how I did these, right? I'll tell you, no wait... I'll show you! Find the video at the bottom and read the step by step instructions right here:

Start off with a silver base color. Apply a top coat and while that's wet, sprinkle your nail with loose glitter. The easiest way to do this is to stick a fluffy brush in your glitter and then just lightly dab it on. Let it dry for a bit, and then repeat this step for the diamond glitter as well!

Make a gradient on top of it all, using OPI sheer tints. When that's dry, paint some embellishments on top of the sheer tints to accentuate the squishiness :)

Then just add a top coat and you're done!
