Creepy shadow nail art - HPB October Halloween Mani Link-Up

Helleu helleu! I'm back with another glow mani, in the same train of thought as my monsters under the bed nail art from last week. The things you can't or can hardly see with the lights on, but then when it gets dark..... *spooky sounds* I'm doing this link-up with a great group of bloggers, click to read more about it!

I'm in a Facebook group called Hobby Polish Bloggers and we're all, like the name says, polish bloggers! In this case, size does NOT matter, and everyone is just frolicking about, asking their questions and sharing their wisdom, playing their harp.... There's also fun, jokes, memes and great discussions. We came up with the idea to do monthly link-ups with a specific theme and duhhh, we couldn't escape the Halloween theme, obviously!
You've already seen a lot of my non-traditional Halloween manis, and hopefully loving them. I chose to do another monster mani because it's the creepiest thing for me! The things that scare you in bed, in the dark, GUHHH *goosebumps*

I've actually been in this situation and I'm still scared in my bed sometimes! And while I was taking the glow shot, you know, sitting there in a completely pitch black room..... looking at this shadow..... you know what I mean!

I finished this mani when it was already dark out, so no daylight to take pictures. I chose to just take pictures in my light box instead, and then quickly take it off because I just couldn't go to sleep with this THING on my nails!

I used Serum No. 5 Silver Lining for the grey walls that light up, and I mixed up a color of grey acrylic paint that closely resembles the color of the polish, so you wouldn't be able to see the monster clearly in the light. It's just like the girl is able to see something that her parents can't see. How creepy is that?!
I used Different Dimension Good Evening, Clarice for the bed because part of the 'creepy shadow in the bedroom' thing was lost when the bed didn't glow. So I added the glow to the bed and also the small piece of wall behind it, on my index finger. I had the bed all painted and there was a boy instead of a girl, but I didn't like the composition so I started over. Girls are way more fun to scare anyways!

Poor little girl, being scared by a shadow. But eventually, the shadow just turned out to be tree branches.... or did it?!

Thanks so much for reading (and being freaked out) and be sure to check out the links of my fellow blogging addicts below!

I received Serum No. 5 Silver Lining as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
