Gothic Gala Lacquers - Starling

Hey girls! I'm so excited to show you Starling, a gorgeous multichrome from Gothic Gala Lacquers! Okay so usually I don't do two reviews in a row, but this is a special occasion. Reason one: this polish is only available until August 31st.... and reason two: it's Samantha's birthday today! This means that it's also a year ago that the shop was opened! The idea for this polish started with this image of a Starling. Granted, this image has been modified (I'm not sure how, it's not my image) to enhance the colors but it's amazing to base a polish on.

And I have to say, the result is astounding. The color shift mimics the feathers of the starling perfectly, and the flakes are dead on for the spots on its back.

I'm showing you one single coat over black. This one coat was dry SUPER fast, and dried so hard it really didn't need a top coat. I went shopping, came back and then applied top coat and it didn't have a single scratch. That's how amazing this polish is. So there.

The color shift is just amazing, SO gorgeous, because in some lighting it flashes a bright green. And I saw flashes, because it's really bright and beautiful!

And in other lighting, you can see it shift to blue and purple. This picture is taken in the exact same place as the previous one, just with all four of my windows shining on it, while I usually close three of the shades to take pictures (because of the reflection).

And ooohhh my goodness have you ever seen something more beautiful? You can see the purple in the back there, I really love that :D This keeps me looking at my nails all day long!

There's even hints of red and copper when the light hits it just right! This picture was taken in direct sunlight and you can see the flakes that are imitating the spots on the starling.
