Epic day at the zoo nails (5 manis!!!)

Hiii ladies!!! Who's excited for today's nail art?!?! I'm kinda nervous... I really hope that this sequel to my epic love story nail art series will be as loved as its predecessor! As you can see, it has taken me quite a bit of work :-p  Click to see the individual pics!

Gooood morning! So our beautiful couple had a daughter, and she's being treated to some quality mommy-daughter time at the zoo!!! It's gonna be an exciting day, walking up to the front entrance!

I used Only You Banana Split and OPI Fiercely Fiona. The gradient is kinda bleak, I would have liked it splashier but maybe this is better for the early morning :)

All of these manis were painted using black acrylic paint and my Pure Color Glamour #1 detail brush from Stylish Nail Art Shop.

Ahhh this is my favorite of these 5!!! Look at the little monkeys, climbing all over the place! You can almost touch them! They're friendly monkeys, don't worry :D

For this gradient, I used a glow in the dark polish from eBay and China Glaze Kiwi Kool-ada. The colors are perfect! So bright (duhh, neon) and happy, I love this chapter <3
Stick your neck out for eachother, that's the motto of the giraffes :-p They do have amazingly long necks, don't they? Don't hurt yourself while looking up!

I used BarryM Blueberry and Ulta3 Blue Marlin for the gradient. The latter turned out lighter on the nail, because it's not a very opaque polish and I didn't apply much. I liked this effect a lot! It's a subtle gradient but definitely visible.

This might have been the biggest challenge to paint. The giraffes' legs made a big blob of black and I had to make sure you could still tell them apart. Also, the large giraffe that spans two nails was hard to get right! My woman figure looks wonky but that's due to the curve of the nail. I swear she looked fine in real life!
Mom is tired and needs to sit for a moment, but the daughter is still very energetic and she can't sit still!!! Time to look at the elephants, they're so BIG!!!

This gradient was made using a glow in the dark polish from eBay, China Glaze That's Shore Bright and Herôme Buenos Aires. I love my Herôme polishes, their creams are so opaque :D

Btw I painted the bench first, and when I showed it to my mom and dad, they commented that it looks EXACTLY like one of the benches in our backyard. It's so weird!

Awwww time to go home already!!! The walk to the car seems such a long way when you're tired and your feet hurt. But what a day it was!! And the little miss has gotten a balloon to remember it :D Wave goodbye to the parrot on the fence! I think he must have escaped...

The polishes from this gradient are Herôme Dakar, Essie Big Spender, Essie Meet Me At Sunset (isn't that name just perfect?!) and Only You Banana Split, which was also used in the first gradient, so that brings us full circle!

A big thanks to 365nailart.com who provided me with both Essie polishes, to make you guys some cool nail art :D

Ohhh my gosh, I hope you liked them! I had a BLAST making these, silhouettes on gradients are really my 'thang'. I made a collage putting all of them in the right order, feel free to share this one on Pinterest, the size is perfect and I know how you all love to pin *wink wink*

Be sure to let me know what you think of these!!!

I received Essie Big Spender & Meet Me At Sunset as a press sample to make nail art with. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
