Doodles with OPI sheer tints + video tutorial
Heya!!! It's still hot here, if you were wondering... I did this design inspired by Copycat Claws, she stamped white over black and then created a really awesome effect using OPI sheer tints. I wanna show you how to do this!! Click to see more :D
Doesn't it look cool? I don't know how she thought if it but I love it :D Very original and also fun to make!
I used Picture Polish Black for the base of this mani. Then hand painted the design on top of that using white acrylic paint and my Pure Color Glamour #1 detail brush. When that is dry, grab your OPI sheer tints (I have minis), and open them up. Make sure you can work fast, because these polishes dry lightening fast and you don't want to mess this up.
Then quickly and randomly, dab the sheer tints onto the design, let the colors overlap here and there for a cool effect. Make sure you cover the whole nail with the sheer tints or you'll get weird blobs... I added a top coat to even everything out and then it's done!
I hate how much bubbles these sheer tints polishes gave me. Aaanyways, I made a video tutorial too, look at this:
