Wavy holo nail art
Goooood Tuesday to you! I have something easy but fun for you today. I hadn't done my nails all weekend and I had only an hour to do them yesterday, so I did a quickie :-p Here's a design inspired by Eva from Flight of Whimsy! Click to see more!
All of my pictures today are looking kinda funny, because I took them in a bright LED light to make the holo pop. The sparkle that these polishes have is just too bright not to show (although I did include a non-sparkle picture at the end of the post)!!
Making it was pretty easy, hence me calling it a quickie. I didn't even have to apply a base color, just base coat, and then I made lines with my 5 colors. I used Color Club Eternal Beauty, Naild'it Unique Nail Polish Rustic Rose (see the review here), Color Club Over The Moon, OPI Teal The Cows Come Home and OPI Swimsuit... Nailed It.
It's pretty sparkly! I like this design, but I don't LOVE it. I'm not sure what it is...
Here's this design without a bright LED light pointed at my nails. You can see how dull it is. Still kinda pretty (and my fingers look a lot healthier), but not as sparkly.
This here is Eva's nail art and she just did a better job than me. Her colors are amazing, the way they line up perfectly! As I read it on her blog, it was an accidental find when putting away her bottles, but a lucky one at that. But alas, I don't have the right polishes so I made do with what I have (which also includes some pretty cool stuff!).
Thanks for reading and be sure to give Eva some loooove on her blog Flight of Whimsy, like her Facebook page, follow her on Twitter, whichever you prefer!
I received Naild'it Unique Polish Rustic Rose as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
