Fairytale flowers with Jior Couture polishes
Hey girls! Wanna see something adorable? I had some nail fails so I decided to go back to basics: something simple, cute and colorful. Click to see more pictures!
Isn't it adorable? It's so girly and cute, just what I needed :D It has something fairytale-like about it, so that's what I'm calling it. Fairytale flowers.
I made the gradient using Jior Couture Virgo, Sagittarius and Libra. These are limited edition polishes that I reviewed two weeks ago, there's only a few left so check out the shop if you want to grab your chance!
The black, white & yellow are all acrylic paint.
Brushes used for this nail art are my detail brush that I got from Christrio Scotland and the Pure Color Glamour #1 from @stylishnailart. They're both capable of amazing detail work and I like to use my Christrio brush for bigger surfaces.
The weather here is really warm and sunny so I think flowers are absolutely perfect for today! Also, I needed a pick-me-up from some personal stuff I've been dealing with and this girlyness is exactly right for it :)
I had the idea of the flowers in my head already, but when I started to work on it this morning, the base for the art just turned out horrible wrong. And then wrong again. I tried a different technique and that just looked worse :-p So remember, you can't win them all, but just hold on to your sanity and try again! You'll get there!
I've also been playing with my lightbox setup some more, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I'll have to do a post about my setup soon, get you guys some good info on how to make your pics look extra good ;-)
Thanks for reading, babes! I just wanna hug you guys for sticking with me and always visiting my blog!!!
I received Jior Couture Virgo, Sagittarius and Libra as a press sample for an honest review. Opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced in any way other than the quality of the product itself.
